What You Need
16 oz macaroni pasta – cooked
1/2 Cup butter
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 Cup flour
3 1/2 Cup milk, warmed
1/4 Cup of chicken broth
1/2 lb Colby cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 lb cheddar, shredded
1/2 C panko bread crumbs
1 Tablespoon of parsley
1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese
What to Do
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9×13 baking dish
In a saucepan – melt butter – whisk in flour – cook over low/medium heat till smooth.
Add milk, chicken broth – heat to a boil. Whisk for 1 minute.
Add cheese and stir till melted – add seasoning and pasta — mix till well combined
Add cheesy pasta to baking dish
In a small bowl combine – panko, parsley, and parmesan cheese and sprinkle over pasta
Cook uncovered for 20 minutes
Enjoy!
This recipe CAN be gluten – free. Simply use gf pasta, gf panko, and gf flour.
