Immune Boost Detox Water Recipe

Earlier this week ( if you follow Budget Savvy Diva on Facebook ) I wrote how I was feeling ill – you know those beginning stages of having a cold ( sore throat and feeling like you did not get any sleep for the last week ) — well that is exactly how I felt
I knew I had to do something — I took it easy that day and I decided to try an immune booster infused water – I basically looked in my fridge to see what I had — I picked up an orange and some blueberries
You know Frozen blueberries would be perfect for this water ( I am actually drinking an infused water right now – frozen blueberries and water) yum!!! I do not even miss soda
Funny Story – I went to the movies last night and I normally get a small soda — but I actually was not interested in soda and opted for sparking water ( best decision EVER)
You can use fresh or frozen blueberries ( frozen are much cheaper AND they keep your water colder 😉
Oranges are full of vitamin C and blueberries have tons of antioxidants
I slipped the water throughout the day and felt much better the next day – I am not saying that this water helped a ton but it did not hurt — and I am one happy puppy not to be sick
I get many questions about how long the fruit should last – I would say 3 – 5 refills 🙂 Feel free to use 1/2 cup of blueberries and 1 full orange for a pitcher
