So the sun is out but Winter is not over yet — I am one of those people who gets sick about once a year – and when I get sick I am down for the count. I have a few trips coming up that I do not want to be sick for ( I cannot think of anything worse when traveling)

So I have been sipping this for the last couple of weeks

Quick side note – I know strawberries are not in season you can use frozen strawberries for this recipe – it will still work great and they will act like ice cubes for the water as well

I never really worked with Kiwi before – if you did not know my dad is allergic to kiwi’s so I never had them growing up

I tend to use a large mason jar for this recipe — since I have a problem drinking water ( straight water is always a struggle for me) — so I kinda force myself to finish the large mason jar ( kinda like a challenge) — seriously whatever works right

I ended up using about 1/2 the cucumber – have you ever had cucumber water ? Right now leave a comment below if you ever had water with cucumbers in it – it is usually called spa water and it is AMAZING

I ended up using the full kiwi as well – and about 6 strawberries.  I suggest drinking about 16 oz per day of this detox

I feel like it gives me a energy boost as well – the strawberries help with hydration and it is full of vitamins but it really is the kiwi that helps the immunity. I threw in cucumbers because they really help change the taste of the water

I rarely drink soda anymore – and I found that I rarely want to drink wine at night – I am grabbing water more and more and I never felt better
