I’m very excited about the new raised bed in my garden, everybody. I’ve been doing quite a bit of landscaping and gardening. Eric, my dad, and I took advantage of the long sunny days we’ve been having lately and decided to build a raised bed for growing vegetables.

Here is a picture of the raised bed – do you like it ?! You can see how sunny it was – they were out there for about 5 hours in full sun.

They pulled up weeds and plotted out the space and built a beautiful box for my new little herb and vegetable garden. Eric does not apply sunscreen on his own, he has some kind of resistance to it, but he often pays the price, coming back red as a lobster at the end of the day.

I did the real work of making sure the guys protected themselves with the Banana Boat ® SunComfort sunscreen I got at Walmart.

It came in SPF 30 and 50+, and it’s safe and effective for broad spectrum UVA and UVA protection. There were also some friendly bugs who were very interested in what was going on out there. So I also supplied the OFF!® personal insect repellent that I also got on my recent trip to Walmart in anticipation of more outdoor activity like hiking at the gorge. It was a good thing I did!

Sun Comfort

The boys did a great job putting everything together and I got to get my hands dirty as well with the planting. It was nice to enjoy the bright sunny day. I experienced the water resistant formula of Banana Boat ® SunComfort . It lasts up to 80 minutes. I was surprised that it moisturized my dry skin as well

This is how I want to spend my summer days. I’m so glad my summer preparations at Walmart already paid off!
