Other Great Uses for Alka-Seltzer

Maybe you have some Alka-Seltzer that you grabbed for FREE as a part of some deal but don’t really use, or you stocked up and now you have some that are about to expire.  Check out these Other Great Uses for Alka-Seltzer!

1) Clean your Toilet – Drop two tablets in the toilet and let sit for about 20 minutes.

2) Unclog the Drain – Drop two tablets down the sink and follow with 1/2 cup of vinegar.  Run hot water for about 5 minutes after.

3) Clean a Glass Vase – Fill vase with water and drop in a couple tablets.  Especially great for vases with a tight entry that your hand won’t fit through.

4) Polish Jewelry – Drop a couple tablets in a glass of water and let jewelry soak for about an hour.  (Not safe for pearls or opals)

5) Remove Burnt Food from Cookware – Fill cookware with warm water and drop in 4-6 tablets.  Let sit for about an hour.
