What You Need
1 French Loaf cut length wise
14 oz of artichoke hearts ( find it in the canned section) – drained and cut into bite size pieces
1 Cup of Medium Cheddar cheese – shredded
3 Tablespoons of Butter
2 garlic cloves minced
Pinch of red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 Cup of mozzarella cheese shredded
1 Cup of Parmesan cheese
1/2 Cup of Sour Cream – Light
What To Do
Set your oven to broil
In a medium size skillet – melt butter oven medium heat. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, garlic powder. Cook for 1 minute
Add all the cheeses and artichoke hearts to the skillet — mix until cheese is fully melted. Add sour cream and mix
Spread mixture on the french bread — you will have two halves
Place in the oven for about 5 minutes — you want the top to be a little brown — remember not to burn the bread
Let sit a couple of minutes before slicing
