I wish my mom knew this recipe when I was a kid!!! It was so simple and the end result was SUPER impressive — it was lightly fried but still moist inside ( the prefect combination)

So I know the paprika says it is sweet Hungarian paprika — it is actually just normal paprika – I love buying seasonings from the bulk section at my store ( I simply keep using the same jar 😉 )
So you might see I am using margarine in this recipe – the price of butter is getting SUPER insane guys!
A pound of butter is almost $5 here — I did see at my local Walmart that a 2 pounds of their butter is about $3 so I need to stock up on that type — but I had to buy the “cheaper” stuff this time around ( this girl is not made of money )
If anyone has a reason why butter prices have gotten so much higher — because my dad and I are COMPELTELY perplex about it

Oven Fried Chicken Recipe - Marie Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound of chicken ( I used chicken tenders)
- 2 teaspoons of paprika
- ½ tsp of salt
- ¼ tsp of pepper
- ½ Stick of Butter or Margarine
- ½ Cup of Flour ( Gluten Free Optional)
- Parsley ( optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450
- Place butter in an 8x8 dish and place in the oven till butter is melted
- Mix in a bowl - flour, pepper, flour, salt , and paprika
- Dish each piece of chicken into the melted butter then into the flour mixture then back into the butter pan
- Once all the chicken is breaded
- Bake for 20 - 30 minutes - flip the chicken around the 10 - 15 minute mark
- Enjoy - Garnish if you like
