Cauliflower Buffalo Bites Recipe

I have really been trying to use less oil in my recipes – I want to try and cook healthier for my family in 2015 — so I thought it would be fun to do a paleo friendly recipe
My husband who NEVER looks kindly to vegetables ate almost this WHOLE plate
This recipe is basically like your beloved buffalo chicken wings ( or bites) but I made them with cauliflower and baked them
And of course I had to serve them with some celery and blue cheese dressing – just like your local restaurant
I have to say this is one of my favorite recipes in a while
Now this recipe can be gluten free if you use gluten free flour – I am not a fan for hot wing sauce so I decided to use whole wheat flour – whatever I can do to make a recipe a bit healthier I make sure too
I also used Frank’s Hot Sauce — which I have found makes the best Buffalo Sauce ( this recipe is not sponsored by them – just letting you know what i think )

Cauliflower Buffalo Bites Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Cups of Cauliflower - bite size pieces
- ½ Cup of Flour
- ½ Cup of Water
- Pinch of Salt
- ¼ tsp of garlic powder
- Non Stick Spray
- ** Buffalo Sauce**
- 1 Tablespoon of Butter
- ½ Cup of Hot Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450
- Either spray a cookie sheet or place parchment paper
- In a bowl - whisk flour, water, salt, and garlic powder
- Dip cauliflower in the batter - place onto cookie sheet
- Bake for 7 minutes
- Flip and bake for 5 more minutes
- While the cauliflower is baking make the sauce
- Melt the butter and whisk in hot sauce - place into large bowl
- Place cauliflower into the hot sauce - make sure everything is covered
- Enjoy with dressing and celery if you want
