Make sure to repin this recipe
I would easily say that Broccoli is my favorite veggie of all time. Even as a child I could not get enough. Even picky eaters will eat this recipe. I was inspired because of my latest trip to the Old Spaghetti Factory. They have a side dish which is exactly the recipe here. It tastes EXACTLY the same – I have made this recipe 5 more times this week – it is my recipe for FALL!
I was at the Old Spaghetti Factory with my parents and of course I ordered my favorite – mizithra pasta ( mizithra is a greek goat cheese that you can buy at Whole Foods or similar places). It is salty and pairs amazingly well with the brown butter. However, parmesan cheese will work as well. But if you can get a hold of some Mizithra I suggest you use this cheese.
This is everything you will need – yep not a lot of ingredients.
This is what brown butter looks like when it is just made. It has a great nutty quality to it.
You can save the unused butter in the fridge and just heat it up when you need more.
