What You Need

2 Strips of Bacon ( Pork or Turkey)- cut into small strips

5 Whole jalapeno

6 ounces of light cream cheese

1/4 teaspoon of paprika

1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon of onion flakes

What To Do

Preheat oven to 375

Slice each jalapeno in half, lengthwise. Using a spoon, scrape out and discard all seeds and any white membrane – this is where all the heat is

In a small bowl combine cream cheese, paprika, garlic powder, and onion flakes – mix well

Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeno – fill it well

Lay a strip or strips of bacon on top of the cream cheese

Lay the jalapenos on parchment paper lined cookie sheet

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes — the bacon should be nice and crispy
