What You Need

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1.5 cups Bisquick
  • 1/3 cup cornmeal
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

What To Do

Preheat oven to 350

Combine all dry ingredients then add the rest :)

Pour into a 8×8 dish

Bake for 30 – 35 minutes.

lol, I usually buy the big bag of mix from costco. But certainly will try this version too!

To make this a mix to keep on hand:

6 cups bisquick
1 1/3 cups cornmeal
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder

Stir and keep in covered container.

Then when ready to use:

2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter melted

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
2 Cups dry ingredients then add the eggs, milk, and butter
Pour into a 8×8 dish
Bake for 30 – 35 minutes.

Forgot to add it makes enough for 4 full cornbread recipes.
