Found A Casualty in My Luggage

*Sniffles*

As most of you know I just got home from Portland, OR  – while I was in Portland I saw that Sur La Table had an amazing sale going on – you can read about it HERE

Well I snagged some great deals including this plate – it is made out of plastic – but looked amazing ( red is my favorite color). I checked one bag – the plate was in this bag – now I wrapped this plate very well – three shirts and newspaper but something decided to punch a good old whole in it.

I am a little heart broken but I am wondering what would you do with a plate like this?

Should I keep it? Throw it away?

Please leave your thoughts in the comment section – thanks!

Make a clock, put the face in the center! Or put a mirror or metal/white/black smaller plate in the middle and use it as decor.

If it’s structurally sound…you could always turn it into a wall clock or something crafty. Just a thought, it looks like it would be a beautiful clock! Good Luck!

oh goodness, get our your box of crafts and make a beautiful centerpiece, using a candle to hide the hole. (red is also my fav color)

I say keep it. You could break it up and use it to make a mosiac candle holder, vase, or for stepping stones for your garden. I personally love the color.

There are so many things you could use this for you could glue a round mirror inside and make it a unique wall mirror. Turn it into something for outside for nature to use I also like the mosaic idea.let a kid you know use it for a hand print craft. find a smaller red plate to gleu to the inside and make your own special plate so many things could be done with this still why not try.

Glue a small contrasting color plat on the top and then use on a shelf for a candle or hang on the wall. Or find a photo or printed pic you like and put it in the middle, using it as a frame!

as someone said contact the airline. I would also contact the store- you can always email them a pic of the damaged plate with your receipt and they may just replace it! Good luck!
