I do the same thing but skip the vinegar. I just boil some water and let it steam in there for a few minutes when it’s done, then wipe with a paper towel. Vinegar is inexpensive but water is cheaper and I’m an unashamed cheapskate. LOL

Yup, I’ve been doibg that for years. I just put a mug of water infide abd I turn it on for three minutes, then wipe it off. I sometimes put a small bit of detergent on a dishcloth if it’s really bad, but, otherwise, it is so simple!

You are so awesome..LOL…always have something great to give us. I have a maternal infant program here in Michigan and it helps low income women that are in need. Do you by chance have any ideas or advice on ways that I can get diapers, and things for them at a low or no cost at all. I think that a lot of them will benefit from a lot of your post so I will be going through them and passing on the information to them. I tell you this to let you know that you are affecting more people than you know….God Bless you!!!

I have used this method for years! It works better than any other method, but I must give a strong WARNING! I had a messy microwave one day, and I thought if a little vinegar works, then a lot of vinegar is better. After several minutes of boiling 3/4 vinegar to 1/4 water, the microwave exploded. The door flew 10 feet and the top of the microwave bowed up almost 2 inches. It was pretty amazing, and in hind-sight, I should have been should have been smart enough to think about the gas pressure building up.
