How to Make Homemade Mattress Cleaner
1. Pour one cup of baking soda into a jar
2. Add 4 drops of lavender essential oil
3. Put lid on jar and shake!
4. Use a strainer to sprinkle mix over mattress
5. After an hour, vacuum mattress thoroughly

    emptied parmesan cheese containers are great for baking soda! i keep one upstairs and one downstairs to use as needed for laundry, carpet, odd unexplainable smells… anything and everything!

    @Stacey- I’ve seen other directions for this same project using a liquid fabric softner of your choice. If you want to go chemical free: You could use any essential oil, it doesn’t have to be lavender. Lavender is likely suggested because it’s known in aromatherapy for being a relaxing and soothing scent.
