Crayon Melt Pumpkin Craft

This is by far my husband’s favorite pumpkin I have made all year and it was my favorite to make ( very easy to make )

What is great with this pumpkin design there is no carving involved and you can use a fake pumpkin ( which is what I did) so I can use the same decoration year after year.

Everything you need to make this Crayon Melt Pumpkin is below

Hair Dryer

Hot Glue Gun

Glue

Your Favorite Crayons

Pumpkin ( real or fake ( I used fake) ) painted white

Cover the surface you are going to be making your crayon pumpkin – choose what crayons you want to use and break them in half. I decided on using fall colors

Hot glue the crayons to the top of the pumpkin ( I find this helpful to create the design you want on the pumpkin)

Hot glue the crayons to the top of the pumpkin

Using your hair dryer on the highest hottest setting – heat up the crayons – hold the dryer about 3 inches from the crayon. The crayon will melt as seen above . The heat will also melt the glue so it will not show a ton
