I have seen Million Dollar Arm twice now and I am planning on seeing it again today — because it is THAT good. Disney has the right formula to make a great heart-felt film and Million Dollar Arm is no exception

First off the movie is PG – and I would say that is rating is very appropriate — there are no scary parts or anything too inappropriate and it is fast paced enough that I do not think kids would get bored

First off this film is based on a true story — and it stays pretty close to the real life events

In a last ditch effort to save his career as a sports agent, JB Bernstein (Jon Hamm) concocts a scheme to find baseball’s next great pitching ace. He decides to try and convert a cricket player into a baseball player – cricket which is HUGE in India seems like the perfect place to go

He holds a contest called Million Dollar Arm – in which the fastest arm will get $100,000 American dollars PLUS head to America to possibility sign with a major league Baseball team – in the end 2 kids go back with him to America

Not only did I love the film but I also loved the music — much of the film was filmed in India and it is pretty breathtaking

Make sure to head to the theaters today to see Million Dollar Arm which opens today!
