How To Make Homemade Soap
Make sure to REPIN this craft π
I have been waiting so long to post this tutorial ! I loved making this soap – so much fun
I decided to try something a little different — I wanted to make soap but I wanted it to be TONS of fun — not just a normal bar of soap — so I decided to take some rings that I got on clearance at Forever 21 and place them into the mold
I also took rosemary from my garden ( I washed and let it dry a day) — so I ended up making rosemary soap — which is so pretty and smells amazing. Rosemary has this wonderful oil to it — so I cannot wait to make more rosemary soap
Though I am crafty – I am not super crafty so I decided to buy a soap making kit ( which had everything in it)
Go HERE to buy the kit I used ( it is enough for 8 – 10Β bars of soap)
The process is pretty easy – melt the soap base ( I used a double broiler) – once it is melted you then add the color ( if you want to ) then you add the essential oils – the kit came with mango and lavender
Pour the melted mixed base into the molds — let the soap sit for at least 2 hours then use a knife to make sure the soap is not stuck in the mold – another hint I saw was to stick the mold in the freezer since the cold temperature would make the soap contract so it would slip right out
Either way will help
