Who does not like a creamy cheese sauce ?!!! If you never made your own cheese sauce — well be prepared to have your mind blown
This sauce is SOOO cheesy and naturally gluten free on its own – so just pair it with some gluten free pasta ( and you have your very own gluten free dish that is out of this world)
What I ended up loving so much about this recipe is that the cheese mixture is not something I normally use — but they rock like socks
I am VERY excited this is the 16th from Marie the first recipe ( Spinach and Artichoke Dip Recipe ( Recipes from Marie) )

I loved using fontina in this recipe —Â this cheese might be a little hard to find – I found mine in the cheese section at my local Winco – so it is not that hard to find but still
For some reason I only can find provolone in sandwich slice shape — but I just cut them up and melted it ( no problem)
This recipe would be perfect paired with chicken 🙂
Fontina cheese can be hard to work with — it tends to seize up if not hot enough

Cream Four Cheese Pasta Recipe - Marie Recipe
Ingredients
- 16 oz of pasta
- 2 Tablespoons of Butter
- 1½ Cup of Heavy Cream
- 4 oz of Fontana Cheese ( shredded)
- 4 oz of Mozzarella Cheese ( shredded)
- 4 oz of Parmesan Cheese ( shredded)
- 4 oz of Provolone Cheese ( shredded)
- 2 Garlic Cloves , minced
- Pinch of Salt
- ¼ Tsp of Pepper
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to the instructions on its packaging
- In a large skillet - melt butter add garlic - cook for 2 minutes over medium heat
- Slowly add cream - add the cheeses and keep stirring till it is fully melted
- If the sauce is too thick for you add some pasta water to the sauce - mix till smooth
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce - mix well
- Serve
