If you have no idea who Marie is – go HERE – I found a vintage recipe box in a local antique store so I am making and posting one her recipes weekly on Tuesday
Today is The Best Baked Chicken Ever Recipe
I really hope you check back weekly for another recipe from Marie — pretty please comment ( let’s make this like a little community)
This is everything you need – if you want this recipe to gluten free – simply use gluten free flour ( use the same measurements )
What is so unique about this recipe is that you melt the butter in a cookie sheet ( make sure that cookie sheet is clean 😉 ) then you can going to place the floured chicken onto the butter and bake
It really is that simple – you might notice that I am using two different type of salts – so I went with kosher salt ( if you ever wondered why I use kosher salt I will tell you the reason)
Kosher salt has larger crystals – meaning by volume they are less strong than ionized – simply put it is easier to control the salt level with kosher salt ( I have been known to over salt a dish …. so I tend to tread carefully when adding salt now)
I added a little rosemary on top – because I love some rosemary 🙂
This recipe is enough for 4 for dinner
