Vanilla Bean Sugar Scrub DIY

Sharing is caring!

CVS Scrub FINAL

Winter is ALMOST here – even now I have been dealing with tons of dry skin. I thought it would be fun today to show you my solution for my dry skin.

I use this scrub in the morning at night on my face and hands – use about 1 tablespoon amount at a time.

I know you will love this DIY plus you can easily make more of this recipe to give to friends and family as presents 🙂

CVS Scrub 2

Two of the most important ingredients are the coconut oil and vitamin E oil – I LOVE vitamin E oil for my face.

I got CVS Cold Pressed Coconut Oil, 16OZ

and

Radiance Platinum Vitamin E Oil, 2.5oz

Both are exclusive to CVS – I find that these two products are the best for this scrub

Below are all the ingredients you are going to need for this DIY

CVS Scrub 3

You will need 1 Cup of Brown Sugar and 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. I LOVE adding the Vanilla Extract to the scrub it really wakes me up in the morning.

CVS Scrub 4

Place the brown sugar in a mixing bowl and slowly add in 1 Teaspoon of vanilla, 1/2 Cup of Coconut oil and 1 Tablespoon of Vitamin E oil.

I melted the Coconut oil into the microwave for about 10 seconds

If you do not want to use brown sugar you can use white sugar. I just love the pairing of the vanilla and brown sugar together.

CVS scrub 5

Mix all the ingredients together well – it really only takes a few minutes to mix everything together.

CVS Scrub

Use the sugar scrub to wet skin – massage in a circular motion to allow the sugar to remove the dead skin – rinse off well. It will make your skin look refreshed and soft!

I place the scrub into a mason jar so it does not dry out
