Taco Bowls Recipe

Sharing is caring!

Paso FINAL

Game Day is almost here! It is a HUGE deal in my house. This year like every year I am in charge of cooking all the goodies for the party. When I think of what to make for the BIG Game – it has to be easy to make, something I can make in volume, and it has to be easy to eat. These Taco Boats do just that. I cannot believe I have not made taco boats before.

I did not just want a simple boat ( throwing random things in) I actually took some time and thought of everything going in – especially when it came to texture – there are tons of different textures ( crunchy red cabbage and soft avocado) really takes this recipe over the edge. Plus adding a splash of lime – YUM YUM YUM.

I went to my local Safeway to pick up everything I would need. I picked up Old El Paso™ Soft Tortilla Taco Boats- there are two different sizes I really love how easy the mini were to use.

I love using Old El Paso™ products for my Big Game Day recipes – since they are easy to work with and everybody loves them. I usually make a taco bar – this year is a little different. Old El Paso™ really helps me spice up the game.

I ended up using my own taco season recipe – if you want the recipe head on over HERE

You are going to brown and season the meat and assemble – the recipe is really that easy

It really is so easy that kids can help you in the kitchen. What are your favorite taco toppings? I usually put cheese on mine – but I really think that the flavors are so fresh and light with these tacos that cheese is not needed at all. But if you are cheese lover feel free to add cheese.
