Did you get your 31 cent scoops at Baskin Robbins? BSD and I went out to Studio City for ours. We each doubled our scoops for a whopping total of $1.24. BSD had the Firehouse and Pistachio. I went a little more traditional with Rocky Road and Chocolate and Peanut Butter.
Two things I love: a) the fact that the peanut butter always stays kind of warm in the chocolate ice cream, and b) that Baskin Robbins still uses real marshmallows in their Rocky Road. They have to be real to get the right texture. I had mine in a cone which rocked. I can’t remember the last time I ate ice cream without a spoon. BSD loved her combo as well. She said the red hots in the Firehouse didn’t overpower the pistachio, which is her favorite flavor. It was a really pleasant diversion and it took me back to my childhood a little bit. Besides that, the weather here has been so fair. It was the perfect time to be out enjoying a cone, despite the usually mood killing traffic.
