Budget Savvy Diva’s Date Night To See The Avengers

Sharing is caring!

So last night’s date was a month in the making. My husband has been waiting for The Avengers to come to theaters for a LONG time. My idea of being “Budget Savvy” is to save on everyday things such as food and daily entertainment, so you can spend money on things you really want to do like travel or date night. We try and do one large date around the 10th of every month ( since we were married 11/10/2010). About a month ago we decided on what theater we were going to and I started my “plan”. I have WAY to much fun figuring out ways to save ๐Ÿ˜‰

After all my research I figured a dollar amount that the date would cost ( with wiggle room). I was able to budget for the film by increasing “meat – less meals” to 2 times a week + making meals that would leave leftovers. Also by recycling our soda cans and beer bottles.

I decided to try out a new hair style – first time without a ponytail for I do not know how long.

But of course it falls right into my eyes...

Now the movie theater we chose to go to actually has a 21+ Dine In Theater

Drinks

and

Food

I decided to have dinner ahead of time ( to help with the cost)

Mr.Savvy chose the Nachos

and we shared a pitcher of “hard” Cider

We watched the film in 3D ๐Ÿ™‚

Now we were ready for the movie ๐Ÿ™‚

Well about 30 minutes or so into the film there were sirens and all the lights came on!

So we all had to get up and go to the lobby

About 15 minutes later we were able to get back to the film ๐Ÿ™‚ It seemed to be a false alarm.

In all it was a FUN- FILLED date night
