DIY Face Cleaner with Epsom Salt
Easiest way to get rid of black heads EVER. Use 1/2 cup of water, 3 drops of iodine, and 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt and bring all three to a boil. Once boiling let the cleaner cool to a temperature that’s comfortable to put on your face and isn’t warm enough to burn. Apply with a cotton ball and enjoy a clean, black head free face, in just a few uses! If it separates in between uses just warm up in microwave and it’s good to go.

So, do you store it at room temp or in the refrigerator?? Does it last for a while (or indefinitely), or does it go “bad” after a certain amount of time to where you should make a new batch?

Okay good to know! One more question…since you keep it in the fridge, do you have to heat it up a bit for each use or is that just if it happens to separate??

I’m just very interested in this because I have such horrid skin, that I want to do something about before getting married, & will try just about anything since I can’t go to a dermatologist. The extractor tool I have doesn’t work half the time cause my blackheads are too stubborn and/or deep! 🙁

I found something to help get the blackheads out. Use no flavoring gelatin mix because it will not have a color too. It comes in a pack of 4 take one packet mix with 1-2 tbsp of milk microwave for 10-15 seconds let cool a little not too much or it’ll be too hard to get out put this over your problem areas let dry and peel off. Homemade biore pore strip oh and an awesome hair remover and way less pain than wax. 🙂

I use olive oil mixed with brown sugar to “wash” my face. I rub it in gently until the sugar dissolves and then I rinse it off. I have had terrible skin my whole life and now I have great skin! May be worth a try for you!

Ok girls did this work? My 16 year old son has very deep blakheads and very tough skin. Soi need a results report, remember he is a guy and does not want to spend a lot of time on anything other than guy stuff.
