“Up-Cycle” Old Holiday Cards

Other Great Tips!

“Up-Cycle” Old Holiday Cards”

Have old Christmas cards laying around? Here’s a great use for them!

Take your card(s) of choice, and cut out designs (Christmas trees, Snowmen, Santa, etc).

Then, you can either:

1. Glue these designs to plain tags to make them more festive or

2. Punch a hole in design and use as a tag by itself.

Write the recipients name on the back and you have perfect, free holiday tags!

    Hello Sara,

Another good use for up-cycled cards I like is placing them on gift bags and even packages. The cards often reflect personalities, memories, etc. It’s always a hit when decorating for themes as well.

I also use leftover holiday cards and other cards I receive throughout the year for name tags on future gifts. I especially like the cards that have an all over design and you can fold a larger section and use for name place cards for a dinner to make it feel more special.
