What You Need
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
(4 fluid ounce) can of beer or root beer ( use regular)
1 (3 pound) whole chicken
Directions
Clean chicken – rinse with water and pat dry
In a small bowl combine all the seasoning – take about 1 tablespoon and place inside the chicken cavity
Rub the rest of the seasoning on the outside of the chicken
If you are gluten – free I suggest using gluten – free beer or root beer instead of regular beer
Place the can with the 4 ounce inside the chicken – the chicken should be able to stand up on its own
Place on the grill ( the grill should be around 400 degrees ) cook for about 1 hour and 15 minutes – use a meat thermometer it should be at 180
