9 Weeks Pregnant With Twins Update

Sharing is caring!

For ALL the pregnancy updates go HERE

Note: This post was written at week 14 of pregnancy. I should be caught up with real-life posting soon. Meaning you will see a few week updates within the same week as we catch up.

Week 9 – not a great one. So there will be a separate post talking all about my bed rest – but it is this week that I had to go back on bed rest. This is due to a subchorionic hemorrhage above Baby A – which is the 2nd time it has appeared. I know subchorionic hemorrhage sound scary – it is somewhat common – especially in twin pregnancy. Again there will be a whole post and video talking about all the drama this hemorrhage has caused ( it in the shortest terms – it is like a blood clot between the sac and uterus wall ( which is not great)). But do not worry – it is all good now ( knock on wood). But it did make week 9 a bit of a bummer – since I had to be laying on the couch through Christmas to New Years – I was only able to get up to go to the bathroom. But Watson was with me through it all – he really is the best nurse anyone could ask for.

Morning sickness is here to stay this week as well – which is never fun ( sneak peek – I am 14 weeks now and morning sickness is still here 🙂 ).

Here is a belly shot –

And of course we have an ultrasound – right at 9 weeks. Baby A is measuring at 8 weeks 6 days and Baby B is right at 9 Weeks. If you notice the stripe of black above Baby A sac that is the hemorrhage. Basically it is a pool of blood – if the pool got big enough it would separate the baby from the wall ( which would be horrible).
