You can take the basic part of this recipe and change up the sauce easily ( like BBQ or Hot Sauce!)

Only 6 ingredients – I absolutely love recipes that have few ingredients to remember. The hardest item to find was the hoisin sauce ( it is located in the Asian part of your local market ) I found mine at Winco

Crispy Baked Asian Chicken Wings Recipe

The secret to the crispy chicken is the wire rack — all the fat and grease will dip onto the cookie sheet 🙂

Please remember to line your cookie sheet with parchment paper or it will be a mess…. I know from experience * cough cough*

Crispy Baked Asian Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pound of Chicken Wings
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • ¼ Cup of Blackberry Jelly
  • ⅓ Cup of Hoisin Sauce
  • Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 400
  2. Wash and Pat Dry Chicken and Place In A Large Bowl
  3. Add about 1 Tablespoon of Vegetable Oil to the Chicken - Stir and make sure all chicken is coated
  4. Place chicken on wire rack sprinkle salt and pepper on each and cook for 40 - 50 minutes
  5. While the chicken is baking mix the hoisin sauce and jelly together - set aside
  6. Place baked chicken in a large bowl and add about 80% of sauce - stir
  7. Garnish with scallions ( optional)
  8. Enjoy!
