What You Need
2 Strips of Bacon ( Pork or Turkey)- cut into small strips
5 Whole jalapeno
6 ounces of light cream cheese
1/4 teaspoon of paprika
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of onion flakes
What To Do
Preheat oven to 375
Slice each jalapeno in half, lengthwise. Using a spoon, scrape out and discard all seeds and any white membrane – this is where all the heat is
In a small bowl combine cream cheese, paprika, garlic powder, and onion flakes – mix well
Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeno – fill it well
Lay a strip or strips of bacon on top of the cream cheese
Lay the jalapenos on parchment paper lined cookie sheet
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes — the bacon should be nice and crispy
Enjoy!
