Everything you need is above – I did change Marie’s recipe by using Olive oil instead of Crisco – that is just a personal preference

She had a recipe of a homemade ranch seasoning – but it had some items that might be hard to find so I thought a great alternative would be to use Hidden Valley Ranch packet — I ended up just using about 2 teaspoons of seasoning — remember the seasoning packet has a TON of sodium so I tend to try and limit how much I use

I also used fresh garlic ( makes a huge difference )

Also HAVE to have red chili pepper flakes

The salt that is used is for the water to cook the potatoes ( salt helps water reach boiling faster)

Ranch Roasted Potatoes Recipe - Marie Recipe

:

Ingredients

  • 6 - 8 golden potatoes -
  • Salt
  • ¼ tsp of Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Teaspoons of Ranch Seasoning
  • 1 - 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 2 Garlic Cloves - minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375
  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  3. Boil water - add about 2 teaspoons of salt --- helps the water boil faster
  4. Once the water is boiling add potatoes - I personally leave the skin on
  5. Let boil for 15 - 20 minutes - Cut one potato open - if there is a white patch in the middle you are good to move onto the next Step
  6. Cut the potatoes in to 8ths and place onto the cookie sheet
  7. add oil and seasoning to the potatoes
  8. Mix everything together with a spoon - lay the potatoes flat
  9. Bake for 25 minutes - flip the potatoes and bake for 20 more minutes
  10. Enjoy
