Reuse Paper Bags as Book Covers

It’s back to school time! Many schools require that you cover your child’s text books so they do not get damaged. You don’t have to buy the costly fabric book covers. A FREE paper shopping bag will also do the trick.

    We had to do them ourselves. Fortunately, psycadellic colors were popular and colored magic markers had just come out. My children used stickers and stuff, and my grandchildren don’t have books yet!

    Went to catholic school and had to use brown paper bags! LOL I like shopping bag idea better….better designs.

    when i went to middle school bringing x- number of shopping bags to cover all of our textbooks no matter how ancient they were, part of our first day of classes, rather enjoyed clipping from old magazines and newspapers and decoupaging my bookcover with pictures and words i liked, or sometimes i’d leave it and doodle on in over the course of the semester, actually saved a couple in my scrapbook because they were too cute to throw away
