28 Weeks Pregnant With Twins Update
We made it to 3rd trimester you guys!!! This is a big deal for me —- the end is getting closer and closer. This was a WILD week – but not the best week. When I was not feeling Baby A as much at week 23 I was told to start doing kick counts and I have been – well I noticed that over the weekend Baby A started to fail her kick counts – I do not feel her much during the day regardless. So I ended up calling the OB office on Monday to let them know – I had an appointment on Tuesday and thought we would talk about it then. Well they had me come in on Monday. I will have that whole story tomorrow – because it is pretty crazy what happens.
Later on week 28 my mom and I went to where we were planning the twin’s baby shower. We decided on a restaurant since we would not have to worry about preparing the food and cleanup. Here is my mom trying a crab cake 🙂
Baby shower planning is in full swing. I am doing much of the crafty things because that is what I enjoy. My favorite thing in the world right now is doing crafts while watching Housewives of Beverly Hills 🙂 I will be right at 30 weeks when the twin’s baby shower takes place – which is pushing it for me. I can tell my daily amount of energy.
Here is my baby bump for the week. This is also my favorite position these days.

Total weight gain: 13.5 pounds – I lost 2 pounds this past week
Maternity clothes: All the way – I do not have many because I only need them for a short time.
Stretch marks: Loving my Burt’s Bees lotion
Bump: TON more blue veins
Sleep: Sleeping better

Miss anything: Having energy – I feel like a failure

Food cravings: CHOCOLATE
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing – I am feeling good

Labor signs: Nope
Belly button in or out: I think it is half out now
Wedding rings on or off: On 🙂 Still can take them off easily.
Happy or moody most of the time: Down this week.
