How to Clean a Toilet With Coke
You know those icky toilet rings and plain old stains your toilet bowl get – well if you are in a pinch grab a can of coke.
All the acids ( like citric acid) and carbon break down stains.
Simple pour the can of coke into the toilet and leave it over night ( or at least one hour).
You should not have to brush before you flush the coke 
But I would do a little scrubbing if there is a difficult stain.

I would rather buy the TB cleaner….much cheaper!
It’s also effective for removing corrosion on car battery terminals… my husband and his friends have done that for years.
i did the lemonaid in the dishwasher…. smelled GREAT!! and looked good too!
I would use something clear like 7up, tried this a few years ago and the coke actually stained.
And we put this is our bodies…..yuck!
@renee – it’s just because its acid… It’s like how vinegar removes really hard water build up/calcium build up but its totally fine to put into our food
Makes you rethink drinking that stuff!

Awesome! If I had a can of coke sitting around, this is definitely what I’d do with it because I wouldn’t drink it haha.
Did you know you can also do this with the tablets used for cleaning dentures? Works like a charm and the price for a tube full of tablets is probably the same if not cheaper then a can of coke and this will last you longer!
Just put 1 or 2 in the toilet and let it stay for an hour or overnight and your good to go. If the stain is still there, just repeat until its gone!
I could see how this would work for the ring around the water level, but what about the grim and yuck up underneath the inside of the bowl?
i also tried vitamin C tablets. Works great.
Coke is petfect for the toilet!!!! Wouldn’t drink!!
